I Built A Fort

Something about sleeping in a blanket fort makes me feel happy. I stayed up two nights watching a new teen drama on Netflix, falling asleep to their voices while snuggling up with my dogs.

I awoke Saturday morning to my mom's voice asking me about my plans for the day as she was heading out the door.

Me: Can we go to Fabric Land soon and get material to make Berke (my boyfriend) a gift for his birthday (a red satin tie that matches the prom dress I am going to make, and a symbol of growing up and maturing)

Mom: Okay we can go when I get home, or right now (she didn't have to leave for another two hours), or even just Sunday where I'm not doing anything.

Me: mom his birthday is Sunday

Mom: Dear lord lets go.

Fast forward a night and morning of rapid creation, it was complete and I was out the door to pick him up for his day.

Hand stitching the back with moments till I had to leave!

He ended up loving it along with a car magazine, lots of chocolate and a cool car gadget (he likes cars)

This weekend was filled with snow, Friday the storm happened all day and school was canceled.

The following day my boyfriends car broke down as it was old an couldn't handle the winter cold and snow build up. I mention this because today he got it back from the mechanic after last seeing it be towed away. As I say before my boyfriend loves cars, especially his. It was a relief to get it back and not have to worry about needing a ride or bus times anymore (yes it was only three days but I'm so adjusted!).

So happy we decided to celebrate with Tim's

Fashion update:
I'm in love with my moms scarf, really helps me connect to the current fashion week going on (In NYC incase you weren't informed)

Stay Beautiful,
