Exciting, exciting, exciting
I went to a party alone, where I only knew a few people I'd just met.
I had an amazing time.
I went to a networking conference and was the youngest one there. I WENT, and I'm proud of that.
I know my 30 second pitch off my heart
I'm going to launch into my market research, app development and farmer's market selling soon!
I'm eating healthy
I'm surrounded by people I love and I feel love every day.
I'm going to Quebec this weekend to meet up with fate.
I'm doing the things I love every day.
Life is exciting.

Oh What a Night
Wow.
I began my night on the train to my friends condo downtown. When I got off the train it was at a platform I was unfamiliar with and I ended up wandering around for about 15 minutes until my friends called and said they could see my from there balcony...they are on the 29th floor! Finally I made it up to the place where we sat and had some drinks before getting to our event.
We are all first year students at Humber for fashion arts. We all love the program and were eagerly awaiting this night, the final fashion show production done by the second (and final) year students. The theme tonight was 'go beyond the dream'.
We took a cab down to the location and we're immediatly impressed by the elegant venue. The bathrooms had the coolest couches... Everywhere they had colored lights and glowing dancers to evoke a mysterious forest mood.
There was even this adorable bar tender who broke a glass trying to impress me with his moves. Of course I had to give him my number.
Then the show began. The first few collections were lovely. Great prints and shapes. But the final collection was done by a creative genius named Stephan Caras'. I was blow away by the incredible silhouettes and embellishment on his garments. One dress, of a silky cream material, had a sleeve that was a full vertical extention of the dress and had a wired hem that gave it a flowing circular shape. It was breathtaking.
After the show I networked with some of the professions that teach this fashion show class. I am determined to be the head of the show next year and make it even better.
Overall it was a great night. As I ran to catch my train to get home I realized (once I stopped on the platform) I was standing beside this adorable guy...we had a great conversation on the train. You don't even have to extend the relationship beyond that because sometimes it feels right to just leave it at a nice memory. And that is how I felt about tonight, it will be a nice memory.
The photos below are my friends and I in the bathroom mirror and then me on the train to her place.

As a Blogger I've Learned
I for one, love to think, so don't get me peg me for some writer's block type. Because when I get going, I go. Sometimes it doesn't make sense, but sometimes, it does.
However, once I've typed up my beautiful, though provoking and
Yeah, that's too many people for me. So I just delete it (after I've copied it into word).
And I've noticed that I don't write how I speak but I write how I think. Which will make any thoughtful post the most intimate display of my soul, by the way.
Maybe I'll publish them in my memoirs.

New City
I want to wake up early on Saturday to meet my friends for yoga in the park
I want to enjoy my commute
I want to want to take my time
I want to get my newspaper from a cart on a street corner
I want to be in need of something and have it by taking a walk down the block
I want to shop
I want to watch people
I want to be successful
I want to beautiful
I want to be envied
I want to go to extravagant events
I want to wear extravagant dresses
I want to see my face 60 feet tall
I want to come home at night, settle on the couch and watch the lights dance

This is the End
Despite this happy post, I have a depressing title. But it's true, this IS the end, of high school.
My last few interesting memories start with grad breakfast. My first two period classes are art classes that are some how always responsible for planning and executing any type of school held event. The morning before grad breakfast we were blowing up balloons like crazy and rushing to get the center pieces done. Grad Breakfast was a success, and it reminded me who my real friends in this school are.
My Breakfast Outfit
After breakfast, a big chunk of the grads were leaving for our grad trip to Wasaga Beach. It was a great weekend filled with friends, fun and tons of sun.
A week after Wasaga was PROM!
I went to prom last year with my boyfriend who is a grade ahead of me. It wasn't amazing and this year I wasn't expecting much.
A month ago I began making my dress. Yes you read that correctly. I made my prom dress. It turned out beautifully and my date had a matching tie (yes I made that too!)
Getting closer to prom I was preparing for my pre-prom party. A small gathering where family and friends come to take pictures of the gorgeous grads. My backyard (the setting for the party) was in need of some serious clean up. About once a week for a few months my mom and I would be out there weeding and cleaning up dried leaves. Closer to prom the boyfriend and friend helped lay down new soil and the day before they power washed the whole thing.
On the day of prom I had a orangized schedule and to do list for my mom, boyfriend and friend. Why didn't I help? Well I had a whole spa day booked from 10 am to 2:30 pm. I got the works done, body scrub, eye brow wax, facial, manicure, pedicure and of course hair and makeup. It was all worth it in the end when this gem of a photo was taken.
Isn't he cute!?
Despite my lack of excitement for the actual prom event, I had an amazing time. There was a photo booth and great music playing. The food was not awful and everyone looked great! I even won for most unique!
This was after prom. I was pretty hyped up from dancing! That's why my hair is such a mess.
Once the awards were announced there was about half hour left for dancing. My party bus groups was heading out then so we climbed on our massive bus to go to the after party.
When we arrived it was crazy! People who I've never seen at a party before were there, and had clearly been drinking, way too much. The party was outdoors only with a DJ and a huge light system. I didn't think it would last to long and as predicated around 1am the cops came to break everyone up.
My friends and I all went to my friend Julia's house to continue our own party. Around 5am I crashed and woke up at 10am in sweaty jeans and messy hair. I went home and shower'd off one of the best nights of my high school career.
Finally a few days later, today, Tuesday, I am done. I handed in my final projects, got my yearbook signed and said good bye to the those who I would miss.
I have one exam this Monday and a report card to eventually pick up.
It hasn't hit me that high school is over. It doesn't really feel like it is. Maybe it will when I finish my exam, or pick up my report card. Maybe even when I start college in the Fall. Who knows. All I know is that I'm ready for summer.
