The past 36+ hours

I woke up, made it just on time for school where I presented my yearbook theme proposal to the class. I think it went well which is refraining me from telling you what that theme is, as to keep it a surprise if chosen. Next I had Writer's Craft where I refrained from sharing in our Writer's Circle. I felt kind of bad, but glad I didn't go, as my piece was too personal to me. Skipped my way to lunch with my cute and super healthy friend, we exchanged tips and stories, lunches with her are splendid. After I danced over to fashion where we took our sewing safety test. I fell asleep during the safety lesson and didn't study, but I got a 90%, pro sewer here, ha ha. Finally I made it to International Business where I finally got pumped up for tonight's event. I was having a party.

Right after school I got home and went out with my parents and best friend to buy supplies. We trekked to the Dollar Store for cups, some candy and a cheesy boa. Then to Wal-Mart for disposable camera's and some other things I needed for home. I got dropped off at the gym for my free hair appointment; a shampoo and blow dry. My hair was too soft and thin to hold the curls she was trying to put in with a blow dryer. She abruptly said "I'm just going to curl it". Twenty minuets later I had a curly head of long brown hair.

I made my way home and started to empty the party portion of the house. Outdoor lights were put up, chairs were moved around and added, the knives set and vases went away and table tops were cleared. Half an hour before people should I arrive we head out to pick up our good friends to take back. One hour later my house was full of 30 people and 10 of them I had not invited but decided to let in anyways. People laughed, drinks were spilled but cleaned up and the music thumped on. Slowly I started to realize people I hadn't invited were here, some I didn't even know. I made sure to slowly clean up along the way, throwing empty cups and garbage away throughout, after all my parents were downstairs and if they came up and saw this many people AND a huge mess of beverage, well they would be very upset. The night pounded on and I found myself in a huge crowd of people. I decided it was time to roll out the troops ( that would be my best and boyfriend) to help me kick out people. The strangers with friends here and the people that really needed to calm down and leave were first to go. Things started to simmer down but it was still a crazy number. At this moment I decided to let myself just enjoy the rest of the party, mingle, dance and have fun. Slowly around 12:30 people started getting a bit rowdy, I slowly kicked a few out but at that moment people decided they wanted to leave to go home. In a big crowd they all left and I was pleased.

Throughout the party I felt on top of the world as I was surrounded by all my friends. I shined in my little black dress and curly hair, impressing everyone; it was my party after all, I had to look my best.

The disposable cameras were full of pictures of everyone having a great time. During the whole party all I heard was positives from people;
" I am having a great time"
"This party rocks"
At one point everyone was cheering my name, I was over the moon. I had a few stick around to clean up a bit, then were driven home and my best friend and I collapsed in bed and fell asleep around 2:30 am.

I woke up to a sticky home that I was in charge of cleaning. Recruiting the best friend, we had the whole place sweep'd, moped and wiped down by noon.

The boa I left out, that someone left outside in the rain.

A feather from the boa I put in my hair for decoration the next morning

 At this time I was going to a fashion show and an art show before my art class that happened to be in the same building. The fashion show was great, not really my taste, but I got lots of inspiration. Made my way to the art show were people were selling their wearable art pieces, I talked to a few people about their art and had fun looking around.

Two-forty-five and I was on the third floor in my Portfolio Preparation Art class.  The teacher turned out to be the new art teacher at my school. She was pleasant and taught me how to shade in a drawing from observation. We drew our show and I ended up with this;
