Eugenia, near Flesherton

A gloriously sunny time I had up at my friends cottage on the lake. I had an incredible time dabbling in various water activities, reconnecting with old friends, exploring land, having midnight trampoline sessions and being inspired at every turn.

The ride up was met with a short nap, and a few candy stops. We began the week by exploring the place on foot and bike. We watched a few old movies when the sun went down. The next morning we went for a swim in the pool, then a nice tanning session on the roof. A lounge day to say the least, except for our kayak ride. The way out was a bit rough as we circled an island, but the other side of the island was very calm. We sat in our kayaks, chatted, and snacked. Our way home we found the other side of the island had become windy, making the water extremely choppy and hard to paddle trough. Only 1km of kayaking took almost 45 minuets. The task was strenuousness but was followed with a nice nap. That night a friend I hadn't seen in a while came up for a few days. It was nice to see her, and know she hasn't changed. The following day we got up bright an early to help put the boat in the water. This meant we got to go tubing! It was great fun riding the bumps and waves through the tubing ride. Once home it was only early afternoon with so much day left. Someone suggested we ride into Meford, a small town with a cool indoor flea market. I picked up a ton of things, most for under a dollar.
Had a ton of fun taking cool pool pictures !

On our way to the flea market town

The things I bought at the indoor flea market. Three notebooks for $1.50! Some cool scrap book paper, treats, presents, and pencils.

Cute hat I didn't end up buying at the flea market.
We also ended up stopping at an old friend's house which had the most adorable cat!

On our way home from Meford we stopped at a little look out point for pictures.

Later that night we had a bonfire with our neighbors. A great way to keep warm on these cool nights.

The last full day we had all together we went on cool hikes and bike trails. We also swam in the pool, again. After finding some old rope it was decided we would make burn bracelets. You take some rope, and burn the ends together. The bracelets stay on forever, I had one on for 4 years. We set up a fun ball tossing game in the afternoon and playing for hours. I won each game;) Then as a pre-dinner snack we stopped at the chip wagon and gobbled down some delicious fries. In the evening we went on a boat cruise on our neighbors party sized boat. The lake is beautiful at night. After that our friend was picked up and we headed over to the bonfire for the night.

On my final day I was leaving at 2 in the afternoon. Plenty of time for a morning swim and tan session, followed by a water skiing session and a late lunch picnic. I got up on water ski's on my first try! I was so proud and happy. After a few minuets my back started to become sore so I ended for the day. I am glad I was able to go this summer at least once though.

Just after I got up on the ski's! So happy right here:D

My picnic outfit

After the picnic I packed up and left the cottage. Came home to some very lonely puppies and the wonderfully missed boyfriend. I had a great time with my best friend and I can't wait for her to come home!

Here are a few miscellaneous pictures.

A healthy salad I made myself one night. Chicken, veggies and egg white. So yummy!

My best friend's dad, with their dog, on the boat cruise. He is the sweetest man ever!

The view of the lake!

Stay Beautiful!
