Modeling Clay

At the beginning of May, my friend caroline and I went to America's Next Top Model Live. It was a beauty, fashion, shopping, style and modeling convention. While there a woman approached me and asked if I was interested in doing a runway walk in front of agencies who would then select the ones they liked and see what happened from there. I agreed because it sounded like a fun opportunity. A couple of people approached me afterwards but I wasn't very interested in the work they were doing, (mostly acting). However two weeks ago Sutherland Models contacted me and told me I have been chosen to be a wild card from their model search at the convention. I was thrilled. I booked the appointment to meet and went on Saturday. My parents kept telling me all they wanted was money, and they were not very supportive. They said they would take me but did not want to pay for anything. When we got there they said I had a lot of potential. The connections they have would guarantee me going to auditions and go-see's. However I lacked the knowledge to succeed at the auditions. They have a training program, which I got discounted on because I won a competition, that would train me on make-up application, how to dress, how to walk, how to stand, and it includes a professional photoshops where they do your hair and makeup. How exciting! I hope I can convince my parents to let me take this amazing opportunity and make it into something great.
