Model Shoe

Outfit for the day!

Today was great. I started off at my modeling class. Today we had a makeup artist come in and show us techniques to use for photo shoots and everyday makeup. I learned new techniques about applying blush and eye shadow. I now know how to complete a smokey eye effect which I love. I feel like this class will pay off a lot in the future. Each class has a new lesson on an aspect of modeling. Heels are essential, red lipstick is a regular and fashion conversations are unavoidable.

I have made a few friends already. We are the only girls who actually are out going enough to talk to each other. It worked out because they are all so sweet! In the picture below I look terribly short, however I must point out they were all wearing massive heels while I stood in flats.

Afterwards my mother informed me with a curt phone call saying she would be about half an hour late. 'Mooooom' I complained. 'oh just go shopping or something' she lightly suggested. A light bulb went off that I was down town alone with money to burn. What a great idea. Sadly I am a very compulsive shopping so my first store was also my last. In my defensive I found the perfect thing. If you are familiar with Tumblr and 'hipster blogs' you may have heard of the Lita shoe by Jeffery Campbell. If not, google that term, you will fall as hard as I did. My love was suppressed when I saw the price and the fact that they could only be bought online. But today that all changed. In the perfect color, perfect size and half the price. It was so coincidental that I ran into this store. I was walking towards urban outfitters when I had a random thought, 'Why not try a small boutique instead?' I looked to my left and saw a cute dress and realized this would be a great place to start. Within five minuets they were in my hands.

My new favorite shoes!
